this is the first time our kids will really  be enjoying halloween. i have explained trick or treating to bear and he is thrilled to be getting lotsa candy! we have missed halloween in passed years due to illness or business trips and last year we were in new york surviving the nor’easter that tried to knock us down.
we have already started decorating and the boys have their costumes. i realize it’s only september, but i’m really looking forward to the season of ghosts and goblins!
here are some fun crafts ‘n treats, easy enough you can do with the kiddo’s:
1. glitter cobweb from here
2. ghoulish zombie faces from here
3. fiery pumpkin patch from here
4. spooky pum’kin from here
5. glowing cupcakes, yup, you heard me… from here
6. crafty paper pumpins, from here.

A great round up, Lola! I am totally stealing that gauze pumpkin idea…that’s one of the freshest jack-o-lantern ideas I’ve seen in a long time. So many people are doing the “puking” pumpkin these days (seeds and pulp coming out of its mouth). So glad to see something new! 🙂
thanks tiffanie! i’m not much into the barfing pumpkins either, and the white ones are super fast and easy to make. and fun! and scary!
Great ideas! I hope Bear has a great Halloween this year! I am in NYC and last year was a total bust. I never got to the farm nearby to the day before, and they didn’t bother to open due to the storm etc. Hoping for a fun filled one this year.
fingers crossed the weather is nice this year. that nor’easter was BRUTAL! in hindsight i kinda can’t believe we were walking in it with two kids and a stroller!!! have a great trip!
