there is no right way to build a fairy house.it’s all about exploring the land and environment surrounding you, using interesting pieces of nature to build the fairies safe, cozy places to rest. it is vital to remember not to kill anything living when making a fairy house; so do not break branches off of living trees or tear living moss from a rock. use items that are already dead.

you’re welcome! thanks for popping by!
Oh I am so in love with these! I have been putting aside bits and bobs for a fairy and/or gnome house to be created on a wonderfully mossy stump in the woods behind our house. These pictures make me want to run outside right now and get started. Unfortunately it’s “mosquito season” for the next couple of weeks so our little project will have to wait.
def mosquito season for us too! when you do get a chance to build a magical fairy house, ENJOY!
So beautiful!! If I recall, a certain young lady named Stella is a bit of an expert at this… 🙂
yes, this certain wee gal has taught us many tricks and tips to building fairy houses!
Charming! My teen daughter builds little houses in my garden, but nothing as detailed as these. I’ll have to show her this for inspiration.
you can search “mini gardens” and find wonderful, detailed gardens people have made for various fairies or gnomes! have fun! thanks for popping by!

So cute, I have seen these as an adult and wish I had been able to make one as a child. I can’t wait for my daughter to get a bit older so we can make them.
